In a press release Sunday, NBC announced its 2011-12 primetime schedule. Amid the list of new shows and old, the network drops one semi-bombshell: Donald Trump’s “Celebrity Apprentice” is coming back for another season.

While the likelihood of Trump running has been dropping with his poll numbers, his bizarre appearance at the end of Mike Huckabee’s 2012 announcement Saturday night suggested that he still considers himself a candidate. But if his show is renewed, is that the end of Trump’s pseudo-presidential campaign?

When the Associated Press asked NBC Entertainment Chairman Bob Greenblatt if this meant that NBC had a commitment from Trump that he wouldn’t run for president, Greenblatt said, “We’re putting a pin in that for the next 24 hours or so. Things will become clearer soon.”

How soon? We must know! But Greenblatt didn’t give additional clues. He said that NBC was prepared to go forward with a new host for “Celebrity Apprentice” if Trump decides to run, but also said, “I hope we don’t have to go there.” He was even more cagey with The Hollywood Reporter, where he indicatedthat “Celebrity Apprentice” would go forward with or without Trump.

“It’s such a strong franchise, not to minimize his presence in it because we love him,” said Greenblatt. “But I really do think it’s all about the casting of that show and the challenges and if he’s not available to us, we’re going to have someone really interesting sitting at the head of that boardroom.”

Celebrity Apprentice will live on without Donald Trump if the New York real estate developer and reality TV star decides to run for president.

That’s the decision NBC entertainment chairman Rob Greenblatt announced on Sunday.

Trump will have to step away from the show — which is set to return midseason — if he seeks office because of FCC equal time requirements.

NeNe Leakes is firing back at Donald Trump – telling TMZ she “feels good” about bailing on “Celebrity Apprentice” …because Trump disrespected her in-front of and behind the cameras.

Leakes tells us her feud with Star Jones was REAL — and says she was legitimately upset with Trump when Donald changed the teams on last night’s show to “accommodate” the former “View” chatterbox.

NeNe tells us, “Trump was doing things to accommodate Star and not me.”

Leakes says she felt producers were constantly trying to “provoke” her … noting, “All of  the manipulating … was very toxic. It was a very toxic situation.”

She adds, “I’m not a quitter or a loser … I had to walk out of the show for my own sanity.”

“I feel good about leaving and I don’t regret it. I don’t believe you need to act like that for charity.”

Justin Bieber seems to be pretty SHOCKED that “CSI” star Marg Helgenberger told a radio show he was a “brat” on the set … especially because they never actually worked together.

Bieber just went to his Twitter page and without mentioning Marg by name … said, “it’s kinda lame when someone you met briefly and never worked with comments on you. I will continue to wish them luck and be kind.”

As we previously reported, Marg went on a French radio show and said JB was “kind of a brat” when he guest starred on the show earlier this year.

Bieber added, “I know who i am and sometimes people r just going 2 say what they want. Keep ur head up and be the man ur mama raised. “

Dannii Minogue has announced that she’s unable to appear on UK’sX Factor this year due to scheduling conflicts.

Days before the new series was to launch, Dannii expressed how bummed she was to quit the show. She said:

”I am so disappointed that I can’t be a part of The X Factor this year. I’m going to miss the show and the amazing team who work so incredibly hard on it.”

Because of her commitment to Australia’s Got Talent, she explains:

“During discussions for me to return to the X Factor it became clear that unfortunately, this year, the X Factoraudition dates in the UK clash with the live shows ofAustralia’s Got Talent during June and July.

For this reason I am unable to return. I want to wish the new judges every success for this year’s show, and can’t wait to see who the British public choose as their next big star.

Thanks to everyone who has shown me so much love and support, and brought me so much joy during my four incredible years working on the show.”

Oh well, Dannii. Yes, we’re disappointed that we won’t see you on the judges’ panel this year, but we are excited for your work onAustralia’s Got Talent!

Britney Spears made an appearance at El Lay’s KIIS FM Wango Tango concert Saturday night and we are in awe!

Coming on stage with host Ryan Seacrest, Brit told the audience, “Hello everybody! I love being here thank you! I am so excited. Its been an amazing year for me and I couldn’t be happier. I am so excited.”

We know it’s been a hit year for her career-wise, but OMG it’s been one awesome year for her body too! She looks healthy, fit, and absolutely glowing with happiness!
